FESTIVAL PASSION CINEMA D'ICI ET D'AILLEURS
From 19 till 25 March 2012 in the Palais des Congrès of Ajaccio
The ""Passion Cinéma"" festival focuses on this most contemporary of art forms, often considered to be the language of our time, providing a window on the world thanks to its eclectic programme of directors and films from different countries, eras and cinematic styles.
Cinema enables us to develop a better understanding of the diversity of the world's continents, as well as an opportunity to learn about different cultures - a potential wealth of knowledge that can have a huge impact on viewers.
While aiming to create films of real beauty, these works also attempt to engage fully with world events, as well as asuming a critical role which is becoming increasingly popular with the public.
In addition to the programme of contemporary films, the festival also highlights works from the past, presented as either new or restored films, in partnership with the Cinémathèque de Corse.
Every film is hosted by an invited guest.
