The Orchinu tower, situated on a secondary summit of the Erbaghiolu peninsula, has two gaping holes - unless it's restored soon, the tower is likely to collapse. With an altitude difference of 170m, the walk here from Chiuni beach is not too long - as long as you can find the actual path to the tower, which doesn't seem to be used very often. From the tower itself, five other towers can be seen: Turghui to the north, and Omigna, Cargèese, Capu di Fenu and Castelluciu (on the Îles Sanguinaires) to the south.
La torre di Orchinu, su un'estremità secondaria della penisola di Erbaghiolu presenta due grandi brecce... a meno che non venga ristrutturata, finirà per crollare. Si arriva attraverso una passeggiata neanche tanto lunga che presenta un dislivello di 170m, in partenza dalla spiaggia di Chiuni, a patto di trovare il punto di partenza del sentiero, anche perchè la zona è poco frequentata,....... Dall'alto della torre si intravedono altre cinque torri: Turghiu a Nord, Omigna, Cargèse, Capu di Fenu e Castelluciu, sulle isole Sanguinaires, a Sud.
