Le lac de Creno, en corse lagu di Crenu, est le seul lac boisé de Corse entouré de pins laricio. Des nénuphars couvrent une partie de la surface depuis leur implantation il y a une vingtaine d'années. Situé dans la région des deux sorru, au-dessus du village d'Orto, dans le massif du Monte Rotondo, le lac culmine à 1310 mètres et n'est accessible que par des sentiers de marche. D70 jusqu'à Vico puis D23 jusqu'à Soccia. Il faut prendre la route au dessus du village qui va jusqu'à un parking. Le sentier démarre au niveau du parking en suivant la rivière sur le versant nord du Monte Sant Eliseo. Il faut environ 1 heure pour atteindre la lac de Creno qui a une superficie de 2,4 hectares et reste gelé 3 à 4 mois par an. Les alentours du lac sont superbes avec des forêts de pins laricios.

The Lac de Creno, or Lagu di Crenu in Corsican, is the only wooded lake in Corsica to be surrounded by Laricio pines. The water lilies covering part of the lake were introduced around twenty years ago.
Situated in the Deux Sorru region above the village of Orto in the Monte Rotondo massif, the lake lies at an altitude of 1,310m and is only accessible by footpaths.
Follow the D70 to Vico, then the D23 to Soccia. Take the road above the village which leads to a car park.
The footpath begins at the car park, following the river on the northern slope of Monte Sant Eliseo. Allow around one hour to reach the lake, which covers an area of 2.4ha and is frozen for 3-4 months of the year. With its Laricio pine forests, the area surrounding the lake is stunningly beautiful.

Il lago di Creno (in corso lagu di Crenu) è il solo lago boschivo della Corsica circondato da pini larici. Da circa vent?anni alcuni nenufari caratterizzano una parte della sua superficie.
Il lago che si trova nella regione dei due sorru, sopra il villaggio di Orto, nel massiccio del Monte Rotondo, culmina a 1310 metri ed è raggiungibile solo attraverso sentieri escursionistici.
