L'Etang de Diana, réputé pour sa production ostréicole qui date de l'Antiquité où les huîtres étaient expédiées jusqu'à Rome.
Seule la chair des mollusques était chargée avec du sel dans des amphores et avec le temps l'accumulation des coquillages a fini par créer des petits îlots.
Aujourd'hui, les produits de la mer, issus des trois activités de l'étang (la pêche, l'aquaculture et la conchyliculture) se dégustent au bord de l'étang chez les différents producteurs.

The Diana Pond is famous for its oyster production that dates back to antiquity, when its oysters were sent all the way back to Rome.

The flesh of the molluscs was treated with salt in the amphorae and, over time, the accumulation of shells ended up creating little isles.

Nowadays, the seafood that is produced by the 3 main activities at the pond (fishing, aquaculture and shellfish breeding) is enjoyed on the banks of the pond, in the establishments of the various producers.

Lo stagno di Diana è un sito rinomato sin dall?Antichità per l?ostricoltura quando le ostriche venivano spedite a Roma.

La carne dei molluschi veniva messa nelle anfore con del sale. Con il tempo l?accumulo delle conchiglie ha creato dei piccoli isolotti.

I prodotti delle tre attività dello stagno (pesca, acquacoltura e la coltura delle conchiglie) si possono degustare in riva allo stagno presso i differenti produttori.
