Le village est dominé par le mont San Petrone. Vous pourrez visiter son église St Jean-Baptiste de style baroque et son clocher haut de 45 m ainsi que la petite église de St Sébastien. Vous pourrez vous rafraîchir aux cinq fontaines à tête de lion situées sur plusieurs places du village. La Porta est un village très vivant avec de nombreux commerces.

Nestling in the sweet chestnut woods on the slopes of Monte San Petrone, this village was built along a mountain ridge. The houses here are traditional in style, built in schist, rubble stone and slate, with austere façades. The commune is proud of its church, the Église Saint-Jean-Baptiste, which is one of the masterpieces of Baroque architecture in Corsica. Its magnificent 45m-high bell tower is visible from miles around. Both the pediment and 5-storey bell tower are in pure Rococo style.

Immerso nei castagneti sui fianchi del Monte San Petronio, il villaggio è stato costruito su uno sperone del massiccio. La sua antica struttura di ciottoli ed ardesia è ancora visibile nelle case in scisto dalle facciate austere.
Il comune è orgoglioso di ospitare la chiesa di Saint-Jean-Baptiste ( San Giovanni Battista), uno dei capolavori dell'arte barocca in Corsica. Il suo sontuoso campanile alto 45 metri è visibile da ogni lato della ronda. Frontone e campanile di 5 piani sono in puro stile rococò.
