U MELE IN FESTA MIEL EN FETE

It is in the small village of MURZO, inland in the region of the "deux Sorru", 1h north-east of Ajaccio, that takes place each year during the last week of September the only event devoted to honey on the island. "MELE IN FESTA" is the window for Corsican honey (AOC product) and its by-products. This day takes place in the streets of the village where all the arts and crafts of the island are also on show. The hospitality of the village inhabitants is an open invitation to all the terroir specialities and you will also be able to take advantage around Murzo of the "Liamone" fresh running waters for a swim or to go fishing, to visit the picturesque hamlet of "Muna", explore the mountain of "Sposata", etc.
