7- Is there a varied choice of accommodation on the island?

One of Corsica’s specific features is the wide choice of accommodation options and leisure activities available on the island, ranging from the most modest to high luxury. Whether you’re looking for a boutique hotel, resort hotel, holiday village, tourist residence, campsite, furnished property, mountain refuge or boat, Corsica has something for everyone both in terms of level of comfort and price. It’s hardly surprising, therefore, that you can find the complete range of accommodation options in Corsica in the brochures of our specialist tour operators.

From rural gîtes to bed & breakfasts and campsites (some of which have bungalows and cabins for rent), the island has plenty of reasonably priced options which are particularly popular with families. However, it is the island’s hotels, holiday villages and tourist residences (apartments and studios rented by the week) which are the most numerous, offering varying levels of comfort from basic to top-of-the-range. A sizeable number of luxury villas sleeping between 8 and 20 guests are available on the island. An extensive list of individual houses and apartments for rent is available from dedicated booking centres (Gîtes de France, Clévacances etc) as well as from Tourist Offices.
