Soft mobility in Castagniccia Casinca
Open to hikers and walkers of all levels, the walking trail linking Castellare di Casinca and La Porta in Castagniccia-Casinca was inaugurated a few days ago.
Combining sportiness, discovery, eco-responsibility and gentle mobility, this trail links the site of San Pancraziu to La Porta, passing through the villages of Castellare di Casinca, Porri, Silvarecciu and Pianu. This project was carried out by the Natural Park of Corsica, the Community of Communes Castagniccia - Casinca and benefited from the help of a hiking professional, Xavier Santucci.
To be done with family or friends, this walk will be an opportunity to cross the villages of Castagniccia and Casinca, and to discover landscapes and places preserved too often forgotten by visitors. Three more hikes will be offered to the public in the coming months, including one from Barchetta, which is convenient for tourists travelling by train.
