Presentation
This forest covers the slopes of the Pianetta (973m), Capu d'Ortu (1,296m) and Foce d'Ortu (989m) mountains. The ruins of a small fort can be seen on the latter peak, where Jean-Paul de Leca and his companions took refuge with their families during the years of conflict with the Genoese. There is a beautiful route along the Chemin du Vittulu, which after 1km turns right on to the Piana road to Porto.
