Sébastien di Franco is the creator of Limonellu (non-alcoholic limoncello), the unique drink using lemon juice. “When I was younger I observed the multitude of fruits fallen at the feet of trees. I always thought that someday it would be necessary to do something with these fruits... before they fall!”
A few years later, Sébastien di Franco created his company – which he called, in tribute to the red beard of his grandfather, “Babbone Rossu”.
In addition to Limonellu, we offer Limonellu cream (spread), made with untreated lemons. We also make sweet chestnut spread.
My lemons are untreated. I source them through word of mouth with a network of producers and individuals. Drinking lemon juice is very good for your health: it’s a fruit filled with vitamins and antioxidants, it’s great for detoxing and it aids digestion.
My companion and I are present on the entire production chain: picking, preparation, bottling and sale. My partner deals with the marketing and communication.
The products are sold at the Bastia market and to order. The brand is present on Facebook and Instagram under Babbone Rossu and Sébastien di Franco.
