Classé comme un des plus beaux villages de France, peut étre l'un des plus vieux de Corse, juché sur la pointe d'une colline entre Calvi et Ile Rousse, San Antonino est l'archétype du village " perché". La route pour y arriver est sinueuse et étroite, pourtant chaque jour ,en été, des centaines de touristes s'y rendent et déambulent dans ses ruelles de ceVillage Mauresque datant du IXe siècle. Construit en forme de nid d'aigle San Antonino possède un caractère très pittoresque ( ruelles en pierres, lavoirs, voûtes, vestiges de fortification...) L'église paroissiale de l'Annonciade, construite au XVIe siècle, est dotée d'un élégant campanile à deux étages renfermant des tableaux anciens classés et depuis 1806, des orgues. Des hauteurs du "Nid d'Aigle", le visiteur beneficiera d'une vue admirable sur la plaine Balanine et le golfe de Calvi.

Listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France, San Antonio is thought to be one of the oldest villages in Corsica, with Moorish origins dating back to the 9C. Perched on top of a hill between Calvi and Île Rousse, this is a typical example of a hill-top village or "village perché". The road leading up to the village is narrow and winding, yet every day in summer hundreds of tourists make the journey here to wander through San Antonio's narrow streets.
The village is very picturesque, with cobbled narrow streets, washhouses, vaulted passageways and the ruins of its old fortifications.
The Église Paroissiale de l'Annonciade, a parish church built in the 16C, has an elegant two-storey bell tower. The church houses old paintings of historical importance and an organ dating from 1806.
There are magnificent views of the Balagne plain and the bay of Calvi from the top of the village.

San Antonino classificato come uno dei villaggi più belli della Francia è in ogni caso uno dei più antichi della Corsica. Questo villaggio che sorge all?estremità di una collina tra Calvi e Ile Rousse, rappresenta il prototipo del villaggio" arroccato." Anche se la strada per raggiungerlo è sinuosa e stretta, ogni giorno, in estate, centinaia di turisti si riversano nelle viuzze di questo villaggio Moresco che risale al IX° secolo.
Il villaggio, costruito a nido d'aquila è molto pittoresco e caratteristico (viuzze in pietre) lavatoi, volte, rovine e fortificazione...)
