Lieu de pêche et de chasse pour les amateurs, Calacuccia est sans doute un village incontournable du centre Corse, au sein de la plus haute vallée insulaire.

The shops in this village situated in the centre of the valley on the shores of a man-made lake add to its lively atmosphere. Calacuccia is surrounded by a magnificent ring of mountains, cloaked in greenery and criss-crossed by old transhumance footpaths, as well as long-distance paths such as the GR 20 and Mare à Mare Nord. It is an idyllic spot which is just as appealing in winter as in the cool shade of the plane trees in summer. A perfect location for fishing and hunting, Calacuccia is without a doubt one of the highlights of Corsica, situated in the heart of the highest valley on the island.
Il villaggio che sorge in riva al lago, nel centro di una valle artificiale è un centro vivo ed animato anche grazie ai suoi negozi. Un villaggio circondato da una splendida catena montuosa ricoperta da una flora verdeggiante, con numerosi sentieri di transumanze e sentieri del GR20, Mare a Mare Nord. Calacuccia è un piccolo angolo di paradiso che in inverno si veste del bianco della neve ed in estate dell ombra dei platani. Un luogo ideale per gli amanti della pesca e della caccia nella valle più alta dell'isola, uno dei villaggi del centro della Corsica da non perdere.
