Lorsque l'on vient du col de Teghime, nous sommes surpris par cette église Saint Martin à Patrimonio. Celle-ci a cet aspect car elle n'a pas été recouverte d'enduit. Les trous dans la pierre ocre, utiles à la construction des échafaudages, donne à cette église du Cap Corse cette particularité. Datant de 1653, elle a probablement remplacé un édifice antérieur. Ce monument historique a été remanié au XIXeme siècle. Le clocher a été surélevé

Crossing the Col de Teghime, visitors are surprised by the appearance of the Saint Martin church in Patrimonio. The church is not rendered and so holes, once used for scaffolding, are visible in its ochre stonework and give the building an unusual appearance. Dating from 1653, the church probably replaced an earlier building. This historical monument was modified in the 19C. The bell tower has been raised.
Quando si arriva dal colle di Teghime si rimane sorpresi dall'aspetto di questa chiesa che non è stata rifinita con l'intonaco, infatti le brecce presenti nella sua pietra ocra, le conferiscono una caratteristica tutta particolare. Il monumento storico che risale al 1653 costruito su un edificio anteriore, è stato ristrutturata nel XIX° secolo quando anche il campanile è stato rialzato.
