Ce n'est pas une tour Génoise mais un ancien poste de guet où était entreposé le sel. Le passage voûté permettant l’accès au quai Landry, fut construit en 1897 et prolongé en 1934.

This is not a Genoese tower, but an old watchtower once used to store salt. The vaulted passage leads to the Quai Landry, built in 1897 and extended in 1934.
Non è una torre genovese ma una vecchia stazione di controllo dove veniva depositato il sale. Il passaggio ad archi che permette l'accesso al lungofiume Landry, fu costruito nel 1897 e prolungato nel 1934.
