A veritable nautical jewel, it opens out like a jewel case onto the Mediterranean. With its crystal-clear waters glistening in the sunshine, the port offers an idyllic stopover for sailing enthusiasts. Boaters will find a warm, friendly atmosphere as they stroll along the flower-filled quays. The seafront cafés and restaurants offer tasty local cuisine, inviting visitors to relax while taking in the breathtaking sea and mountain views.
On a more practical note, the Solenzara marina has 450 moorings divided into 8 piers and 5 quays. The 2.5-hectare basin has a maximum draught of 3.00 metres, and is particularly well protected from most of the prevailing northerly, north-easterly and westerly winds. The Harbour Master's Office is located to the west of the port perimeter, in the immediate vicinity of the pannes, shops and car parks.
Vessels must inform the harbour master's office before arriving in the port of Solenzara, either by telephone, VHF or e-mail. They will be met by the harbour master's office boat or directly on the pontoons or quays for mooring assistance. They must then go directly (after mooring) to the harbour master's office to check in.
