The Petit Train de Bastia offers visitors commentary by national guide-interpreters specialising in the heritage of this city of art and history. After a trip back in time to the Genoese Citadel, a walking tour will take you through the splendours and ancient streets of the historic centre. The guides will be on hand to answer questions from the most curious visitors in languages as diverse as Italian, English, German and often Spanish!
And finally, back to Terra Nova via the Old Port. Due to works in the Old Port, the route has been slightly modified.
Frequency: April to October.
Departure point: Place Saint Nicolas (opposite the Tourist Office)
Duration of the tour: approximately 45 to 50 minutes.
Opening hours from April to June and from September to October: 09:00 - 10:00 - 11:00 /14:00 - 15:00 - 16:00 - 17:00.
July and August opening times: 10.00am - 11.00am - 2.30pm - 3.30pm - 4.30pm
(Departure guaranteed for groups of 6 adults or more, reservations only possible for groups, timetable subject to change depending on numbers).
