Presentation
On 26 and 27 April, Bonifacio is transformed into a paradise for gourmets, the curious and lovers of fine things. For two days, local producers, passionate craftsmen and talented chefs come together to celebrate the pleasure of eating well, in a convivial atmosphere open to all.
Stroll freely through Da Cumprà, the large market of producers and artisans, a veritable showcase of Corsican terroir. Mature cheeses, subtle oils, distinctive wines, ceramics and tableware: each stall tells its own story.
A few steps away, the Da Manghà - Chjesa area invites you to take a gourmet break. From foodtrucks to tasty stalls, you can enjoy local specialities on the go in a relaxed atmosphere.
At the heart of the festival, head to Da Manghjà - Loggia, where the chefs take charge. They'll be cooking live before your very eyes, using produce freshly selected from the market. Watch, talk and enjoy... and leave with a little of their know-how thanks to Da Imparà's workshops and masterclasses.
In the mood for a bit of entertainment? Head over to Da Campà, the show-cooking area, for some unique duels between chefs and producers, all in a lively, festive atmosphere.
On Saturday afternoon, a conference will enhance the programme by tackling an essential theme: the place of regional products in our diet today and tomorrow. In attendance will be Pierre Hermé, honorary president of the event, Marc Veyrat, patron of this first edition, and Alain Di Meglio, Bonifacio's deputy for culture and heritage.
And to round off the day in style, there's a party on Saturday evening! Concerts, tastings, raised glasses and good humour until midnight.
