The essence of the Corsican mountains
The 69km Restonica Trail invites you to plunge into the very essence of Corsica on a demanding route that combines technical challenges with natural splendour. From the very first kilometres, the ascent offers breathtaking panoramas of the Tavignanu valley, where crystal-clear waters meander between imposing mountains and wild landscapes.
Along the way, you'll pass through some emblematic sites: the Padule sheepfolds, witness to the island's pastoral history, Lake Ninu with its verdant pozzines, and the Camputile plateau. The Bocca alle Porte pass, culminating at 2,252 m, is a highlight of the race, offering spectacular views of the Capitellu and Melu glacial lakes, nestling in an alpine setting.
Technical descents and daunting climbs punctuate this 69km route with 4,000m of positive altitude gain, but every effort is rewarded with raw beauty and immersion in Corsica's unique landscapes.
