The group Una Fiara Nova, founded in Castagniccia by the Giovannetti brothers in 2018, draws its influence from traditional polyphony and Mediterranean singing to offer a contemporary polyphonic palette.
While remaining faithful to the island's oral tradition and vocal heritage, the group incorporates different sounds from different cultures into its musical colour.
The result of a first creative album released in 2023, the show "U focu di a vita" is a blend of six voices, harmonies and instruments.
It's the culmination of 5 years' work in a unique concert combining poetry, voices, instruments, traditions, modernity and much more...
