Shared between the sea and the mountains, Santa Maria Poggio is home to sacred architecture: the church of l?Assomption from the 17th century, with its vaulted ceiling frescoes, the Genoese bridge, the chapel of San Pancraziu and the site of Piévanie. As well as its cultural aspects, Santa Maria Poggio is enhanced by the presence of the Ucelluline waterfall, with its tunnels, ledge and unbeatable view of the coast, especially the marina at Taverna, the preferred stopping point for navigators that are in search of the perfect harbour. You absolutely have to visit!
