Sari-Solenzara has a diverse landscape and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Comprising two main centres, the village of Sari and the seaside resort of Solenzara, this commune of 74 km² is surrounded by hills and mountains, offering varied and majestic panoramas.

Solenzara, famous for its marina, is a popular destination for lovers of the sea and relaxation. The port, located in the heart of the town, embodies the soul of this seaside resort, where a succession of festivities and nautical events take place from May to October. The clatter of the masts and the calm of the harbour make it a charming place for a peaceful stroll. The Solenzara river, a natural jewel with crystal-clear waters, enchants with its rapids and natural pools, ideal for a getaway in the heart of nature.

The beach at Canella, with its shallow waters, is perfect for families. As well as its fine sand and clear waters, it offers a unique view of the old Corsican railway line, adding a touch of history to this picturesque spot. But this isn't the only beach visitors can enjoy, as the Solenzara coastline stretches southwards, dotted with small coves and wild beaches.

Sari, perched at an altitude of 450 metres, is an authentic and picturesque haven of peace. Its fountains, traditional houses and sun-drenched alleyways create an enchanting picture. The viewpoints from La Penna and Monte Santu offer breathtaking panoramas, with the sea on one side and the Massif de Bavella on the other, inviting visitors to contemplate.

The church of Saint-Pierre, restored in the 19th century using stones from the old chapel, reflects the dedication of the local community, its bell tower having been added later by the locals.

Every year, the patron saint festivals of Saint-Pierre on 29 June and Saint-Paul the following day in Solenzara bring the two villages together in a spirit of solidarity and conviviality, symbolising the strong bond that unites the people of Sari and Solenzara.
