Located between the communes of Quenza and Sari-Solenzara, the Solenzara river flows through an exceptional natural environment at the foot of the Bavella massif. It rises at an altitude of 1,145 metres, north of the Col de Bavella, and flows for 22 kilometres to the Tyrrhenian Sea.
This coastal river meanders through an unspoilt valley, bordered by dense forests and scrubland, offering contrasting landscapes between mountain and sea. The river is notable for the clarity of its waters and the presence of natural pools lined with rocks, ideal for relaxation and contemplation.
Accessible from the road linking Solenzara to Bavella, the Solenzara valley is a natural gateway to the interior, offering spectacular views of the Alta Rocca hills.
