Night sky discovery evenings 2025 season

 CLUB ASTRO AJACCIO

Discover the night sky with the Ajaccio Astronomy Club

The Ajaccio Astronomy Club regularly welcomes the public to its Observatory at the Vignola Science Center for evenings of discovery and observation through telescopes.

The public is welcomed once or twice a month, depending on the availability of volunteer guides and weather conditions. The schedule of evenings, published on this page, is regularly updated.

Evening program

Discover the night sky, identify the most beautiful stars and constellations visible during each season, and learn how to navigate using the stars.

Observe the lunar landscape, nebulae, galaxies, star clusters, and planets through a telescope, depending on the time of year.

By reservation only. By clicking on one of the links below, you will be redirected to the HelloAsso page where you can book your evening.

Recommendations
We recommend arriving at the reception desk 10 minutes before the start of the evening.
Cars are not allowed inside the Observatory grounds. Public parking is located on the right before the sign indicating the site entrance.
No white light (e.g., flashlights, cell phone lights, etc.) is allowed at the observation site, where only red light is permitted in order to preserve the night vision of participants.
Dress warmly in winter; during the summer, bring a jacket.
