After an early morning welcome meet in Ajaccio, we’ll start the first stage at extreme tip of the far south, jumping from one gulf to another, from Ajaccio to Valinco. From Ospedale to the Aiguilles de Bavella, the road (a stage of the 2013 Tour de France race) takes us into the upper Taravo valley peppered with quintessential Corsican villages nestled in the greenery. We head up the Vaccia pass (1193m) followed by a long descent between chestnut and beech trees to Zicavo (735m).
DAY 3 ZICAVO-CORTE
Distance: 101km / D + : 2305 m
This exceptional inland road takes through two famous passes: Verde (1289) and Sorba (1311). Then we descend towards the Vecchio valley with its green meadows to reach Corte, historic capital of independent Corsica.

Distance: 76km / D + : 1515 m
Discover the sublime Niolo region and the high pass of Scala di Santa Regina. Go through the magnificent gorges of Spelunca and the Col de Vergio - the highest road of Corsica. Descent towards Porto and enjoy a magnificent view of the gulf.
DAY 5 PORTO-AJACCIO
