Some hotels have set up amid the island’s natural heritage and offer MICE clients solutions entailing the holding of work sessions fully immersed in the surrounding nature.

The seafront is hugely popular when organising incentives, but this isn’t any old coastline! Here, spaces are protected, the beaches and blue waters of the creaks are an invitation to bathe and the water activities on offer are the highlight of incentive stays.

The Bastia area – Cap Corse & Saint-Florent 

Bastia town, thanks to its exceptionally rich heritage as a “City of Art and History” lives at the rapid pace of its cultural activities and events. Convivial and authentic, nested between mountain and sea, the city can also offer great accessibility as well as dynamic economic and scientific sectors, and year on year, is hosting a growing number of professional meetings.

Bastia in June, is alive with the buzz from “Creazione”, its Mediterranean festival of fashion and design, which celebrates Corsican creation in all its forms (fashion design, sculpture, basket and cutlery making, embroidery, perfumery and leatherwork). The town, rich in customised infrastructure, can also host visitors at the Musée de Bastia [Bastia Museum], in the heart of the citadel. This is the ideal setting for any business meeting, boasting an auditorium seating 90, an atrium seating 500, and hanging gardens seating 200. The municipal theatre also has capacity for 800 sitting in addition to several other spaces, namely a conference room (seating 200), its préla room (seating 50), and its peristyle (seating 250). Recently, the town has also gained a new meeting place, in the form of the Alb’oru cultural centre which can host up to 312 people. Finally, a large range of hotel establishments offer facilities tailored to all types of events.

Domaine Misincu***** located in the heart of Cap Corse’s nature reserve, this property has 32 guestrooms and 6 private villas each with its own small or large pool. And with 22 hectares of grounds, the availability of space facilitates the organisation of professional meetings and events. The hotel also has a bistronomic restaurant and panoramic terrace overlooking the bay, a pool space, magnificent olive grove, and 350m² entirely dedicated to tranquility, incorporating a sauna, hammam and small pool as well as massage and treatment booths.

Demeure Castel’Brando****, you’ll find this charming hotel in the picturesque village of Erbalunga in Cap-Corse, fifteen minutes from Bastia. It has 43 guestrooms and suites, two swimming pools, a jacuzzi and spa offering a large range of treatments, as well as shaded terraces where receptions can be held. Professional meetings can be held in the village hall, opposite the hotel.

 Hôtel Mercure Bastia Biguglia**** 5 minutes from Poretta airport and 10 minutes from Bastia town centre by motorway, this property has 83 guestrooms with all modern comforts as well as 3 meeting rooms with a maximum floor space of 70 m². These can host 80 in theatre layout, 60 in banquet layout, 40 in meeting room set up and 300 in cocktail reception layout. The hotel also has a relaxation area with an indoor pool, jacuzzi, spa-hammam and fitness room.

Hôtel des Gouverneurs**** with 26 guestrooms and suites, this hotel overlooks the picturesque Vieux-Port de Bastia, nested in the very heart of the Citadel’s historic quarter. It also has a wellbeing area with a pool, hammam and sauna. Its proximity (under 50 metres) to the reception rooms of the Governors’ Palace, makes it possible to organise professional and other events in an exceptional historical and cultural site.

Hôtel & Résidence Lido Marana****, this property in Furiani, a 10 minute drive from Bastia town centre, 15 minutes from the airport and 500m from the beach, has 52 full comfort studios and apartments, several fully equipped and customisable natural light seminar spaces with capacity for up to 60 people, a swimming pool, and an open area on the rooftop terrace (capacity of 200 people).

Hôtel Ostella & Spa***: comprising 52 guestrooms including 2 jacuzzi suites, this hotel also boasts a 400 m² wellbeing centre, indoor pool,  several grand terraces and four seminar rooms. Its spacious reception rooms regularly host all types of professional events  and efforts to modernise existing facilities are under way so the property can meet the most specialised requests. The restaurant serves traditional cuisine combining Mediterranean flavours with regional produce.

Hôtel Le Bastia*** this hotel was opened in 2020 and can be found high in the Town’s hills. It has 60 guestrooms, 7 apartments, 3 meeting rooms that can host up to 60 people, as well as an indoor heated pool and gym. There is bus parking available, and there are 2 underground car parks. 

Hôtel Port de Toga*** opposite Bastia’s trading port and 400 metres from St Nicolas square and its many bars and restaurants, this establishment is also only a 4 minute walk from Toga beach. The property has 40 guestrooms and a seminar room with a 50 person capacity and also provides a high quality catering service for the Rooftop receptions it hosts.

Biguglia Hôtel Pineto*** sitting on the beach front, in 3.5 hectares of grounds, on the Marana lagoon strip, 15 minutes from Bastia Poretta airport and the trading port, this hotel has 21 guestrooms, a fully equipped meeting room that can host 30 people, and a restaurant.

Best Western Corsica Hotels Bastia Centre*** nested in the town’s hills, this property has 71 spacious guestrooms, a bar/lounge, restaurant grill, several customisable seminar spaces with natural daylight and capacity for 50 people, as well as a conference hall with fitted with modern, quality equipment.

Hôtel Poretta*** Less than a kilometre from Bastia airport, and recently renovated, this hotel has a fully equipped 200m2 air conditioned conference hall which can be used whole or split in two. It also has a car park, locked garage, bar and swimming pool.

Chez Walter*** can be found 4 km from the airport and has 65 comfy guestrooms with pleasant park views. The property also has a relaxation space, pool, tennis court and gym. In addition, the hotel has 4 fully equipped rooms that can be used for conventions, seminars and meetings of 20 to 100 people.

Hôtel San Lucianu*** in Moriani-Plage, in the commune of San Nicolao and 40 minutes from Bastia airport, has been recently renovated and opened to guests again in April 2021.

It has 100 carefully decorated guestrooms including 5 suites measuring 50m², a large dining room and very large terrace that can host 200 people. SAINT-FLORENT

La Roya**** in an idyllic waterfront location, this property has 11 guestrooms and 15 suites, a gourmet restaurant, wellbeing space, and a 55m² fully equipped seminar room offering natural light and capacity for up to 30 people. Guests can take their breaks outside, under the pergola, in the shade of the umbrella pines.

Demeure Loredana ***** in the gulf of Saint Florent. This luxurious 23 bedroom hotel has a wellbeing space where guests can enjoy the hammam or a massage with essential Corsican oils, an indoor infinity pool and an indoor heated pool. It also has a fully equipped seminar room with a 60 person capacity.

Hôtel La Dimora**** this 18th century farmhouse, at the heart of the Patrimonio wine route and near the port of Saint-Florent and the beaches of the Agriates Desert, has been converted into a luxury 4 star boutique Hotel, offering 17 guestrooms and suites and two luxury villas with their own private pools. Guests can also enjoy the Mediterranean gardens, heated pool and a spa, making it perfect for incentives,

La Balagne – Calvi & Ile Rousse

La Balagne, with its coastlines, crystalline waters, seaside resorts and mountain villages, is popular with leisure guests, but is also an upcoming location for the incentives sector. As well as offering a wide range of activities combining open air and sea, and a plethora of hilltop villages just waiting to be discovered, La Balagne also invites you into the workshops of its artisans, who, as the living memory of ancestral knowhow and craftsmanship, can offer you full immersion in an area that brings together a great many advantages for the organisation of professional events.

The town of Calvi and its cultural heritage offers high end hotels equipped with seminar rooms and spas as well as a range of sea and mountain based activities just waiting to be discovered.

La Villa***** This luxury Relais & Châteaux hotel, with a panoramic view over the town, has 56 guestrooms & suites in addition to several apartments and 3 villas. It also boasts several pools, a swimming lane, lounge bars and a restaurant as well as a spa, gym and a fully equipped meeting room with a capacity of up to 80 people in theatre layout. The property hosts many business meetings, with its warmth of welcome and professionalism making it a particularly attractive choice.

La Signoria***** This charming and magnificent Relais & Châteaux hotel and gardens, once an 18th century residence, is just 10 minutes from central Calvi. It has 29 guestrooms, suites, apartments and villas  as well as a pool, restaurant and spa that offers treatments using essential oils made from the Corsican scrub. A number of rooms are available for meetings, seminars and receptions, and tailored support can be provided in various forms, ranging from advice to the implementation of original ideas.

Hôtel Corsica*****sitting in the Calvi hills, this hotel has 50 guestrooms, a restaurant, pool, bar and spa. It also has 2 customisable seminar rooms, with a maximum capacity of 120 m² that can accommodate 100 people standing.

L'Acquale**** can be found near Calvi beach, and was fully renovate with great care in 2020. It has a seminar room which can accommodate 50.

Hostellerie Abbaye**** Opposite the Calvi pine grove, this hotel has 43 guestrooms that were fully renovated in 2020 and a seminar room that can host up to 35 people.

Hotel Kasano (soon to be classified ****) Opening in April 2022, located in the city center of Calvi, at the foot of the citadel, the hotel offers 39 comfortable rooms and suites, refined decoration. "Casanera" wellness and fitness area, with hammam, sauna, 2 treatment rooms, outdoor swimming pool, bar and lounge terrace with an exceptional view facing the bay of Calvi, gym, fully equipped seminar room for 40 people.

Mariana hotel*** With 52 fully renovated guestrooms (including 5 suites), this hotel is only 5 minutes from the town centre ,which it overlooks, and 10 minutes from nearby beaches. It also has a heated pool, hammam, sauna and gym. A 200m² meeting room, with natural light, that can host 70 people seated and over 200 standing is also available.

ILE-ROUSSE

Liberata Boutique hotel & Spa****, this stately home decked out in Art Nouveau style, sits by the sea front, in the heart of the Ile Rousse with beach access. Each of its 22 guestrooms has a sea view and its spacious and functional meeting room, measuring 60m2 can provide technology, comfort and natural day light,  while accommodating up to 40 people.

Hôtel Casa di Ma****, in the village of Lumio, a stone’s throw from Calvi, this luxury hotel can offer 29 guestrooms, a heated pool and massage room as well as excellent dining. It also has a meeting room for seminars with a capacity of 6 to 20 people. Seminar reservations are subject to a personalised management and bespoke follow up process to ensure client requirements are met.

Best Western Santa Maria**** In its seafront location, looking onto the Iles Rousses, this hotel offers direct beach access as well as 56 guestrooms, a bar, pool and solarium plus a seminar room with audio and video equipment.

Hôtel la Pietra*** this seafront property has 40 guestrooms, a restaurant, bar, spa area with giant jacuzzi and sauna and a fully equipped seminar room measuring 58 m² that can host 40 people maximum in theatre layout.
