For the past ten years, Balagne has been committed to positioning itself as the go-to destination for mountain biking in the Mediterranean. The Corsica Bike Festival symbolises this commitment, showcasing the region's energy and enthusiasm for mountain biking. Each route is enhanced by steep slopes, lush greenery and spectacular views. Nature promises cyclists an exceptional adventure on every expedition. With over 220 km of marked trails, the region offers a remarkable network of tracks between the sea and the mountains. French Enduro Mountain Bike Championships

On October 25th and 26th, the region will host the French Enduro Mountain Bike Championships. Nearly 400 riders, both professionals and experienced amateurs, are expected to compete on technical courses specially designed to test their technique and endurance. This final round, organised in partnership with the French Cycling Federation and the Balagna Bikes Club , attracts big names in mountain biking every year, drawn by the unique setting of Lisula and the festival's growing reputation.

Events for all levels

To fully enjoy the Corsica Bike Festival experience, several events suitable for all ages and skill levels are offered:

• XCM and XC Marathon mountain bike trails: the circuits alternate between rolling sections, technical passages and breathtaking panoramas. Everyone can choose their distance and level of difficulty. The marked circuits have refreshment points to ensure comfort and safety. Whether solo or in a team, everyone is free to discover the region at their own pace.
• XC Mountain Biking Relay Race: a race contested in teams of two in the picturesque streets of Lisula. For 1 hour and 30 minutes, participants alternate between relay races and exploring the area for a unique and fun sporting experience.
• LISULA XC KIDS : cross-country race reserved for children aged 5 to 14. The new route takes place on Fornole Hill, 500 metres from the central village. This is an opportunity for younger children to get a taste of competition in a friendly and festive atmosphere.

Family Hiking and Wine Tasting: when sport meets local culture

The Corsica Bike Festival is not just about sporting performance: it also celebrates the Corsican way of life and the richness of the local terroir. The Family Tasting Ride perfectly embodies this spirit, offering an accessible route punctuated by gourmet stops. Along the way, participants discover local flavours: orange wine, olive oils, Aregnu almonds, and artisanal Corsican charcuterie and cheeses. A break at Casa Savelli, in the heart of the village of Pigna, allows you to savour these local treasures before strolling through the lively streets of the artisan village.

A lively festival village open to all

For three days, the festival village comes alive from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., welcoming young and old alike to a variety of activities:

●      Exhibition area: meet cycling professionals, see the latest innovations, and test equipment.

●      Pumptrack: A fun circuit to learn or perfect your technique, supervised by professionals.

●      Introductory courses for children: workshops and courses suitable for children aged two and above, so that everyone can find their place on two wheels.

●      Trial and freestyle demonstrations: spectacular shows performed by top-level riders.

Your tailor-made adventure

Access to the festival village and activities is free. For participants in the events, the Lisula Tourist Office negotiates advantageous packages each year, including sea crossings, accommodation and preferential rates with local partners. A personalised booking service allows you to tailor your stay to your needs.
