Between turquoise seas, imposing mountains, fragrant scrubland and charming villages, each section invites you to discover a different facet of the island.
Departure from Bastia, Place Saint Nicolas . The route runs along the north coast, offering breathtaking views of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The road passes through typical villages before turning towards San Fiurenzu (Saint-Florent) on the edge of the gulf.
On the second day, the route alternates between coastal sections and more rural areas. The views open up onto the sea, but also onto the mountains of the Nebbiu region. Climb gradually towards the Balanin hinterland, between scrubland and forests, before descending to L'Isula (Île-Rousse).
The third day is wilder. Head into the interior of Balagne, cross the Fango valley , then descend towards Portu (Porto) via the D81, between pine forests, red granite and blue sea. The finish is in the heart of the regional nature park, with the sea in sight.
This stage is reserved for climbers. Cross several passes amid pine trees and ridges before heading towards Corti (Corte), the historic capital of the interior. Then reach the small town of Ghisoni.
The final day of the challenge. Traverse the heights of Taravo and then Alta Rocca , between streams, deep forests and windswept plateaus. The finish in Carbini marks the end of a sporting journey through the heart of authentic Corsica.
