Creazione 2026: a celebration of fashion, design and cinema New

As a preview, on Wednesday 10 June from 6.30 pm to 11 pm, the fashion show will take place for the first time at the Conca Marina — Bastia’s Old Port, heralding the festival’s official opening scheduled for the following day. Exceptionally relocated from the Palais des Gouverneurs, it will take over this recently redeveloped urban and maritime setting, capable of welcoming a wider audience in an iconic location in the city. This flagship event will blend fashion, cinema, music and art into a creative experience open to all, showcasing the island’s talent through collections with a strong identity, blending Corsican traditions, Mediterranean influences and modernity. The set design, conceived by Sogni Production, will draw inspiration from the world of cinema and film sets. Nearly thirty professionals will be involved in staging this sophisticated and unifying show, which will be filmed and screened during the festival at the Bastia Museum.
A creation to experience
It all begins in the old town , at the Governors’ Palace, a place of influence, both a witness to history and a catalyst for talent. Since 2015, the Creazione festival has been setting up its trunks and spotlights here to showcase its fabrics, ideas and figures. Here, there are no static display cases; objects can be touched, handled and worn. Fabrics to drape, ceramics to shape, screen prints to compose, typefaces to test: the visitor becomes a participant.
Designers with unique styles
Creazione values emerging young talent as much as established figures. The festival showcases many creators with unique and distinctive styles. Each draws inspiration from their surroundings, background, and personal experience to create original and innovative works. Here, Corsica is not simply described, it is shaped.

Food stands for all tastes
Creativity also finds its way onto the plate at the festival! Between workshops and meetings, take the time to enjoy a bite to eat in the hanging gardens or under the museum arcades.

The spirit of this unique place in Corsica
Creazione is also an atmosphere: open-air evenings, concerts in the museum courtyard, parades at dusk. Creators and visitors alike continue their discussions over a glass of wine or craft beer in a corner of the bastion steeped in the scent of olives. For 72 hours, the entire city becomes a showroom, a stage, a studio. Bastia fades away and gives way to what it inspires: a city like a village, where everyone meets, talks and shares.
True to its DNA, the event promises to be festive and immersive. Disco decor, video mapping, hologram welcome displays, and fashion shows under the gilded ceilings of the Palais des Gouverneurs will punctuate these three days. An anniversary edition marked by glamour, youth, and innovation.
