Tell us about your brand.

The Zaïnatti brand was born in 2010 in Bastia. My first project was to rethink and design a bag inspired by a shepherd’s bag displayed at the Museum of Corsica. I draw my inspiration from big fashion and design houses, with Hermès as a major point of reference.

At present, the Zaïnatti brand develops leather products, but also other materials including textiles. Versatility is the secret to artistic success.

Do you make your creations yourself?

All Zaïnatti pieces and models’ creations are conceived, drawn, assembled and approved by me, in collaboration with partner workshops.

How has Corsica inspired your creations?

My creations are inspired by our tangible and intangible heritage. Maintaining and reaffirming the connection between creation and our history is a priority for me.

And a few words to sum up the Creazione festival in which you’ve recently taken part?

Institutional boost, promotion of island creators.
