Who would have thought that the village of Erbaghjolu, just a stone's throw from Corte in the Rogna region, would one day become the meeting point for all astronomy enthusiasts?
The story of Stéphane Natalini and his "Stelle di Corsica" gîtes is worth sharing: it was during a visit to the Atronomy Club in Ajaccio that Stéphane learnt that his gîtes in Erbaghjolu, near Corti, were in an exceptional location in Europe to observe the Milky Way and the stars, as there was no visible pollution at Erbaghjolu. However, the site quickly became a must for the astronomers' associations that Stéphane approached. An exchange of courtesies was organised: room and board would be provided to astronomers who would come and share their knowledge and passion with the tourists (and locals) present at the site during the long summer evenings... Between enthusiasts, the feeling quickly spread and Stéphane invested in high-performance telescopes and professional observation equipment.

A chat room has also been set up for discussions about the stars. In addition to the gîtes, the Cabane de l'Alien is available for hire, in Area 51 mode: everything inside is dedicated to the little green men. Observation spheres sit alongside flying saucers and flag-bearing aliens. Other projects are in the pipeline, as Stéphane is a tireless enthusiast.
A place out of space and time, for an unusual holiday with your head in the stars.
