In Aléria, the sailing club offers a paddle excursion to discover this special environment, where the flora and fauna are revealed to silent observers as you travel up and down the river. On a cool autumn morning, only the sound of paddles on the water adds to the natural and wild atmosphere.
It's another way to get to know the river and learn how to navigate.

Looking to cool off?
Head south towards Solenzara to the Ponte-Grossu car park and enjoy an unusual swim in one of the island's natural pools. A natural beach borders the large pool, allowing you to enter the water gradually, ideal for all generations. A place to discover early in the morning, or at the end of the day.

Where there's a beach, there's a mountain... A short drive along the road to the Ospedale should be enough to convince you! Just half an hour's drive from Porto-Vecchio, a promontory offers incredible views over the whole region, all the way to Sardinia. You can go for a walk, go hiking, do some accrobranche (tree climbing), eat while looking at the panorama or in the shade of the pines in one of the mountain restaurants, stop off at the dam... There's plenty to make your day unforgettable.
