In spring 2026, we are currently offering 2-day mountain breaks.
The next trip will take place on 25/26 May 2026, and is open to riders aged 12 and over (accompanied minors) who are comfortable outdoors.
There is a minimum of 3 participants and a maximum capacity of 6.
On the first day, we set off from our village, Bastelica (850m altitude), and reach the Ese plateau (1620m altitude) in the afternoon. On the first day, we'll cover around twenty kilometres, with a change in altitude, and a variety of landscapes (chestnut forests, pine forests, beech forests, river crossings, etc.), before returning to a ridge offering panoramic views over two valleys, the Gulf of Ajaccio and part of the mountain range.
We spend the night at the family sheepfold, where we enjoy a traditional meal* by the fire.
We spend the night in tents (equipped with an inflatable mattress and a torch).
Sanitary facilities are available.
* Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies. The meal does not include drinks. Water available from the fountain.)
The next day, after a hearty breakfast, we're off to higher ground as we approach 2000m altitude at the foot of punta scaldasole, before descending to an ancient glacial lake, a hidden treasure of the Corsican mountains: i Pozzi di Bastelica, situated at the base of the 4th highest peak on our island: u monte Renosu.
We enjoy the site and set off again in the afternoon.
Please note: as an outdoor/mountain activity, we are dependent on the weather conditions, timetables can be altered and we are sometimes forced to adapt the routes (particularly at the end of the spring season, when there is still snow). Also, for safety reasons, we may postpone an outing in the event of a weather warning.
