Presentation
With a service every half hour, you never have to wait long. The little train’s stop is on the Marine, just a few steps from the departure points for boat trips and the carousel.
The climb up to the Upper Town offers a fascinating view of the whole harbour, followed by the famous ‘singing tunnel’ and the arrival at La Carotola (in the Upper Town).
Let’s be clear…
From there, you’re free to wander around the whole town for as long as you like. You can visit the Escalier du Roy d’Aragon, of course, but also enjoy a spot of shopping in the cool, shaded medieval alleyways.
To head back down, simply catch the little tourist train from where it dropped you off. And you’ll find it comes in very handy once again, given the weight of all the souvenirs you’ll have bought in the many shops…
TICKET OFFICE
• From La Marine: at the ticket office located between the carousel and the ticket machine.
• From the Upper Town: at the Citadel Municipal Tourist Office, 2 Rue Fred Scamaroni.
Please keep your ticket for the duration of the journey so that you can make the return journey.

• Haute-Ville:
