Casa Murza is first and foremost a privileged location, perched at the top of a hill overlooking Vico. It is an ideal base for discovering the various facets of western Corsica and the mountains of the upper canton or the Niolu valley. Swimming in the sea or in the river, hiking for all levels in this region of the Deux Sorru, will leave you with lasting memories!
Coming to Caza Mura also means meeting two enthusiasts: Bernard and Michel. And their passions abound! All the essences of the Corsican maquis present in their garden bear a botanical label. They wanted the design of this house to fully integrate the principles of eco-construction. This commitment materialized in 2009 by obtaining the Ecogîte Qualification. Without sacrificing comfort, the house therefore turns out to be a formidable support for raising awareness of an eco-citizen approach.
Bernard will gladly open his workshop to you, for those interested in the luthier profession.
In the kitchen, it's Michel who operates and who will share his secrets with you. He also prepares many daily products: sourdough bread, brioches, yogurts, fresh pasta, desserts and jams from organic products. Bernard grows vegetables in a communal garden. Meats, cheeses and wines come from local producers who respect the environment.
