L'ORNANO - TARAVO

The Pieve of Ornano and Taravo is a territory rich by nature. Indeed, it offers by its diversity, great natural and cultural riches as well as multiple ancestral know-how which will delight gourmets and lovers of Corsica. Three very distinct micro regions revolve around the Taravo river:

Still as strong as ever, the region's agro-pastoral tradition is mainly divided between breeding and cultivation of chestnuts. Over time, the delicatessen of Taravo has established itself as one of the sure values ​​of island gastronomy.

Mixing relaxation by the beach and village spirit thanks to Serra di Ferro, the North Shore of Propriano will delight you with its diversity. You will enjoy the sun on the long white sand beaches of Cala d'Orzu or Cupabia whose landscapes remain unusual. Stroll around the port of Porto Pollo for a lunch break or a drink. And if your heart tells you, take a little tour of the village of Serra di Ferro where you will appreciate the local atmosphere with a direct view of the Gulf of Valincu but also the lake of Tanchiccia, Natura 2000 site where many of plant and animal species develop.
