As part of the program for the 2024 Christmas festivities, the Town of Ajaccio is once again offering its famous City Trail Impérial, on Saturday December 28, 2024, an intramural running event that attracts no fewer than 1,500 runners and some 10,000 spectators every year.
It's a popular event that allows participants to get together in a festive atmosphere in the heart of a city center that's been completely returned to pedestrians! This year, the start of the 9.4 km race will take place at 7.00 p.m. in the Place Campinchi, in the heart of Ajaccio's Christmas Market... and as always, runners are invited to come in fancy dress!
An event organized by the Town of Ajaccio, in collaboration with the athletics clubs. Corsica Triathlon Club d'Ajaccio, GFC Ajaccio Athlétisme, ASPTT Ajaccio Athlétisme, Corsica Run X Trem, Club Omnisports Porticcio, A Santamariaccia, Cercle Athlétique Ajaccien.
Profits from participants' entries have been donated to charities since the first event.
