The Tour de Corse à la Voile is a regatta based in Bonifacio, organised by the Bonifacio Yacht Club under the auspices of the French Sailing Federation and the Corsican Sailing League.

Remaining true to its iconic 250 nautical miles non-stop route around the ‘Isle of Beauty’, this regatta retains its sporting spirit and the legendary camaraderie characteristic of passionate sailors.

Every year, crews from all over Europe take up this unique challenge. Alongside a majority of French-flagged boats, crews from Italy, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and even Luxembourg bear witness to the event’s European appeal. In 2026, around forty boats will be entered in the competition.

It attracts both amateur sailors and the big names in sailing who have left their mark on its history: Florence Arthaud, Franck Cammas, Catherine Chabaud, Kito de Pavant, Sébastien Josse, Lionel Péan (current record holder, with a time of 25 hours, 57 minutes and 5 seconds)… An impressive roll of honour for a race that is closer to an offshore adventure than a simple inshore regatta.

MONDAY 5 OCTOBER
• 9.00 am–5.00 pm: crew registration – Maison des Pêcheurs, Quai Nord
• 4.30 pm: Beer Truck opens – Quai d’Honneur
• 6 pm: Bonifacio IRC Cup skippers’ briefing – Maison des Pêcheurs, Quai Nord

TUESDAY 6 OCTOBER
• 10.00 am–5.00 pm: Day 1 of the Bonifacio IRC Cup Inshore Regattas
• 4.30 pm: post-race drinks at the Beer Truck – Quai d’Honneur

WEDNESDAY 7 OCTOBER
• 10.00–17.00: Day 2 of the Bonifacio IRC Cup inshore regattas
• 16.30: post-race drinks at the Beer Truck – Quai d’Honneur
• 17.30: Bonifacio IRC Cup skippers’ briefing – Maison des Pêcheurs, Quai Nord
• 7.00 pm: cocktail reception for sailors taking part in the Tour de Corse LV Overseas – Café de la Poste, Rue Fred Scamaroni (the street will be closed to traffic for the occasion)

THURSDAY 8 OCTOBER
• 12 noon: start of the Tour de Corse à la Voile LV Overseas

FRIDAY 9 OCTOBER
• Tour de Corse à la Voile LV Overseas

SATURDAY 10 OCTOBER
• 7.30 pm: dinner featuring the traditional onion soup, organised by the Bonifacio SNSM – Maison des Pêcheurs, Quai Nord

SUNDAY 11 OCTOBER
• 12.00: Closing of the race for the LV Overseas Tour of Corsica
• 13.00: Prize-giving ceremony for the LV Overseas Tour of Corsica and the Bonifacio IRC Cup – Maison des Pêcheurs, Quai Nord
