For the fifth year running, the E Culturale literary festival will be held in the three villages that make up Montegrossu on 4 and 5 July 2025. E Culturale is organised by the Musanostra Corsican Cultural Association and the municipal team. Literature, heritage and the arts come together to provide opportunities for encounters and discussion on these Balanese heights.

Born of the desire to bring culture to Corsica where it is less likely to be found, this event has attracted a loyal and varied audience, made up of local residents as well as tourists and Corsicans who have travelled from far and wide.

On the 4th at 6.30pm, the village of Cassanu, with its beautiful star-shaped square, will welcome the famous writer Franck Thilliez, considered to be one of the greatest masters of crime fiction. A book signing will follow, and there will be a bookshop on site.

In Lunghignanu, where the trees in front of the church guarantee a beautiful moment, we'll be welcoming Jean-Michel Neri on the 5th at 5.30pm to talk about his latest book. And in Montemaggiore, we'll be bringing the festival to a close as pleasantly as ever at 7pm. Our guest will be Jacques Pradel, whose latest book has just been published and who has made a name for himself in writing, television and radio. This will be followed by a book-signing session for Jacques Pradel and Jean-Michel Neri. The Town Hall and Musanostra will be hosting a buffet for all those who wish to attend.
