Considered to be the most important regional fair in Corsica, the chestnut fair is the meeting place during the winter. Dedicated to chestnuts and the tutelary "bread tree", over three days it gathers together a wide variety of producers and craftsmen who will offer visitors - 20,000 each year - the best of the island's production, thereby testifying to the vitality of a young and creative rural economy. The theme of this fair is the chestnut and its different uses. Organisation of a regional chestnut flour contest. Talks and conferences are held throughout the event which is classified a "site remarquable du goût" by the Conseil National de l'art culinaire. The fair is a window for agro-foodstuffs and cultural productions.
