"The Rencontres Internationales de Théâtre en Corse event takes place in the Balagne region from the month of July onwards. Directed by the actor Robin Renucci, the festival?s focus is on theatrical creativity and teaching, attracting a hundred or so participants to the Le Ghjunsani valley, where they receive expert advice from professional thespians keen to share their love of the theatre and their expertise. As part of the event, around twenty productions are rehearsed and performed during the festival. These performances, which take place in local villages during the month of August, are produced in close collaboration with local residents. "
