A musical week in the heart of the Mediterranean! As part of the twenty-fifth edition of the “Rencontres Musicales de Méditerranée”, the Association des Jeunesses Musicales de Méditerranée offers island audiences throughout Corsica a musical week of the highest artistic quality. Nearly 200 performers and musical personalities representing the leading conservatories, institutes and national music schools in the major capitals of the Mediterranean region - notably Egypt, Spain, Italy, France, Tunisia and Portugal - join forces with Corsican artists for a week of musical sharing across the island. All concerts organized by the association are free of charge.
The highlight of the event is the gala evening on Saturday, November 9 at 8:30 p.m.: in the first part, all the artists and musicians offer the public a glimpse of their specific music. In the second half, they join forces in a symphonic formation, under the direction of Italian maestro Alessandro Bombonati, to accompany a Corsican artist performing a Corsican song, with arrangements by Alberto Intrieri from Milan.

En première partie
Toutes les formations invitées jouent des œuvres libres caractéristiques de leur pays (Vocales, instrumentales ou mixtes) et conjuguent leurs talents avec ceux des artistes locaux (A Chiama, A Riuccata …)
En seconde partie
L’ensemble des musiciens, dirigés par le maestro italien Alessandro Bombonati, accompagnent en formation symphonique le chant final « Corsica », interprété par Petru Santu Guelfucci, sur des arrangements d’Alberto Intrieri.
