Presentation

The Emperor's Trail will lead walkers and runners from the peninsula of la Parata to the bottom of Napoleon's statue at " le Casone" , following the splendid path " des crêtes" which overhangs the Northern bank of the gulf of Ajaccio. Two tests are scheduled this year; the first one for the amateurs of race in mountain will end at " Le Casone" after a layout of 23 kms while the walkers will follow an easier and especially less longer (15 kms) layout

Program

For this 22nd edition of the Trail Napoléon, the time has come for changes with disrupted routes and new trails discovered near Capo Di Feno.
But the big news at the end of 2023 is the entry of the Trail Classic into the Golden Trail National Series Salomon circuit, crowning the work of hundreds of volunteers for more than 20 years and 10 years of partnership with the brand.
The best hopes of the discipline will come and compete against the island specialists, with qualification for the final of the circuit in the Basque Country at stake.

On May 5, 2024, the routes of the 3 races will be turned upside down with a departure towards the sea via the Boulevard Mme Mère which will precede a terrible sequence of climbs, some of which are unprecedented, with the direction of the race reversed compared to previous editions:
10 km 400 D+ for the Trail des Aiglons with the climb of the 3D on the program to "test" yourself on a short distance on trail

25 km 1500 D+ for the Trail Classic, considerably toughened for the occasion, including the Vignola ascent (3km 500 D+) which will make you regret the previous editions

43 km 2000 D+ for the Trail Imperial passing through the Parata peninsula and discovering the Funtana Trifugliuliccia.

Don’t worry, the arrival buffet will be unchanged and the Ribella beer will be there to comfort you…
Until then, train well, make your reservations with our partners and meet for the weekend of May 5, 2024 in the footsteps of the emperor...
