Saint Erasmus festivities from 28 May to 6 June in the Port of Ajaccio

Every year Ajaccio celebrates Saint Erasmus.
This year, 10 days will be devoted to the sea, 10 days of festivities, discovery and conviviality, as well as environmental education and conservation.

Wednesday 28 May - Opening of the festivities

11.30 am - Official opening of the festival
12pm - Inauguration (reserved for institutions and sponsors), aperitif and lunch offered by Corsica Linea (by invitation only)
8pm - Fishermen's meal: sea salad, supions à la sétoise, cheese, dessert, drinks - price €25
From 8pm - Concerts with Kema, Kassaka et les Gypsies, then L'Arcusgi

Thursday 29th May

12pm - Aperitif and lunch offered by I Pescadori in Festa (by invitation)
8pm - Fishermen's meal: mussels and chips, cheese, dessert, drinks - price €18
From 8pm - Concerts with I Marinari and I Voci di a Gravona

Friday 30th May

12pm - Aperitif and lunch offered by I Pescadori in Festa (by invitation)

3pm - Sea jousting tournament
8pm - Fishermen's meal: octopus and skate verrines, fish soup, cheese, dessert, drinks - price €25
From 8pm - Concerts with Jean-Pierre Marcellesi, Boston, Georges and DJ dance

Monday 2 June - Saint Erasmus Day

10.30am - Descent of the Saint into the Tino Rossi harbour
5pm - Mass in the church of Saint Erasmus, followed by a procession to the port and a blessing at sea
7pm - Wine reception hosted by I Pescadori in Festa and Pescadori Aiaccini
From 8pm onwards
Concerts with Scola di Cantu by Natale Luciani
Refreshment bar until midnight

Tuesday 3rd June

9am to 2pm: Basketry show, introduction to naval jousting (L'Estaque) and demonstration by the Martigues rowers, painting workshop with Yolande Tiberi
2pm to 4pm: Jousting and rowing shows, rowing competition open to all, painting workshop with Yolande Tiberi
From 4pm to 6pm: debate on the impact of climate change led by Michel Marengo (STARESO) and Catherine Riera (Gloria Maris)

Meal: blue crab and eel soup, cheese and dessert - price €25
Concerts with Irish Duo feat. Thomas Kerbrat, Ponente Folk Legacy

Wednesday 4th June

9am to 2pm Basketry show, introduction to diving, introduction to naval jousting (L'Estaque) and demonstration by the Martigues rowers, painting workshop with Yolande Tiberi
From 2pm to 4pm: jousting and rowing shows, rowing competition open to all, painting workshop with Yolande Tiberi. SNA regattas
From 4pm to 6pm: debate on the "reserve" effects around Corsica, led by Jean Michel Culioli, head of the "Protected areas of the sea, islands and coast" department.

Meal: fish soup (+ eels or fish fritters), cheese and dessert - price €25
Concerts with José Giannelli, Jean Mattei, François Giordani, José Padovani

Thursday 5th June

From 4pm to 6pm: debate on the future of fishing in Corsica, artificial reefs and mooring boxes, hosted by the Office de l'Environnement and the CCI de Corse.

Meal: Bouillabaisse, cheese and dessert - price €50, must be booked the day before at the refreshment stall
Concerts with Diana Saliceti, Primavera, Erin

Friday 6 June - Closing ceremony

From 4pm to 6pm: screening of documentary films on underwater archaeology in the Gulf of Ajaccio.
