Bonifacio Town Hall and its Centre Culturel - Médiathèque present a play by Federico Garcia Lorca, directed and performed by the Teatr'Europa company and adapted by Orlando FORIOSO.
Between the flamenco and the songs of the romancero gitano, the pleasure of laughing and celebrating together gushes forth. Marianna's story is similar to that of Maria Gentile, the Corsican heroine, two women resisting political and military oppression. When resistance, freedom and the defence of rights come face to face with barbarity... an old story for today.
