Hailing from the far south of Corsica, A Chjama is a vocal and musical ensemble made up of three singers and musicians. Their repertoire ranges from secular to sacred polyphony, from traditional songs to contemporary pieces.
The group's name evokes the call to sing, sta ‘Chjama’, which has always been felt by young Corsicans keen to promote their culture and values.
The group offers a wide range of services, from polyphonic concerts and sung masses at weddings and christenings to musical events in Corsica and elsewhere.
