"Since its creation, ""SCEN'E SONNIU"" has marketed itself as a festival of diversity and exchange, with an aim of promoting every facet of live entertainment and street art. Every year, a dozen or so companies from Corsica, mainland France and Europe come together for this week-long event. The invited companies, internationally renowned performers and young talents alike, attend for the duration of the festival, enabling them to take time to get to know each other, to meet audiences and to explore the island. Most of the events and shows are outdoors and free, in keeping with the great tradition of street theatre. "
