Presentation
This festival is a combination of a music academy for young pupils and a series of free concerts held in various villages in the Deux Sorru region in the west of Corsica. Sorru in Musica, a ten-day event of concerts and other events, also provides a forum for local artists and music students to meet professional artists, for beginners to meet with more experienced musicians, and for visitors to attend performances of both classical and traditional music. Ten days dedicated to music in the region?s streets, churches and villages, during which conviviality and a sense of sharing are very much to the fore.
