Spartera is a vocal and musical ensemble. Made up of six Corsican singers and musicians, the group offers a wide range of performances, from traditional Corsican polyphony to weddings, parties and festive events.
Sharing", as the group's name suggests, is at the heart of its vision and conception of singing, as are the transmission and pleasure of singing.
Spartera offers a wide range of services:
Spartera is keen to preserve the authenticity of Corsican singing, and offers performances rooted in the island's traditional heritage (polyphonic and acoustic concerts with vocals and guitars, traditional mass sung in polyphony, song/music events combining ancient Corsican repertoire and contemporary songs).
More varied performances are also offered, combining Corsican songs with traditional and international variety songs (in French, English, Spanish and Italian in particular). These are generally offered as part of events such as cocktail parties or wedding meals, private entertainment evenings or catering, trade fair entertainment, etc.
