The Musée de Bastia, in partnership with the Musée de Site Archeologique de Mariana - Prince Rainier III de Monaco, presents a new temporary exhibition: Corsica rumana, a Mediterranean island in Roman times.
Although the two colonies of Mariana and Aleria are well known to the public, Roman influence extended
as evidenced by recent archaeological discoveries.
From daily life to religion and the economy, this exhibition covers a wide range of themes, with over 500 objects, many of them previously unseen. A true heritage event, it's an original way to immerse yourself in Corsica's ancient past.
