Presentation
A flagship event in the Alta Rocca, this large-scale event takes place throughout the village, which is transformed into a medieval city. Parades, shows, fights, theatre, exhibitions and entertainment will punctuate this great festival.
Several exhibitions illustrate this long period, on Rinucciu da la Rocca, on
the Casteddi Cinarchesi, and famous figures from the period.
Workshops will be held on writing letters and illuminated manuscripts, and on Corsican coats of arms from the Middle Ages.

The presentation of models of trebuchets, fixed siege engines, and the reconstitution of a medieval corsesque, a Corsican hast weapon, are original elements to be discovered.7000 to 8000 visitors attend the Médiévales de Lévie every year.
